About this property
Perched above the legendary Kaʻū coastline on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, this rare homesite offers the opportunity to build an extraordinary luxury retreat in one of the most breathtaking and untouched regions in the islands. Located within the gated community of Kula Kai View Estates, this expansive property captures sweeping 180° panoramic ocean views stretching all the way to South Point — the southernmost point in the United States. From your future lanai, watch golden sunsets disappear into the Pacific while cooling mauka breezes roll across ancient lava fields beneath the stars. This is Hawaiʻi in its rawest and most beautiful form. Imagine a modern island estate with an infinity-edge pool, open-air great room, outdoor kitchen, fire lounge, and walls of glass framing uninterrupted coastline views. The elevation and positioning of the lot create a dramatic natural setting unlike anything in Kona resort developments — private, peaceful, and deeply connected to the land. Adding to the uniqueness of this area is the world-famous Kula Kai Caverns system located beneath portions of the surrounding lava fields — one of the largest known lava tube and freshwater cave systems in Hawaiʻi. The area is rich with geological wonder, Hawaiian history, and untouched natural beauty.
