About this property

Rare opportunity in desirable central Waimea! Situated on Nob Hill at a cool 2,700-foot elevation on nearly an acre, this unique property began as a Parker Ranch paniolo cabin and has been thoughtfully expanded while retaining pieces of its original charm and history. Original touches include a Parker Ranch hitching post and a peaceful garden fish pond. Offering approximately 4,011 SF of total living area with 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths, the flexible layout is ideal for multi-generational living with potential for multiple revenue-producing spaces. The 3,636 SF main residence currently features a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath primary living area, a nanny suite with private entrance, and an exterior-entry studio. A detached approximately 375 SF cottage with its own separate driveway provides even more possibilities. The lower living area may also be incorporated to create a larger single-family residence. Enjoy views of Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa and Hualālai, along with ocean vistas for checking the surf and watching the sunset. Mature trees create a sense of privacy, while the grounds feature papaya, bananas, lilikoi, pipinola vines and more. All of this just moments from the heart of Waimea, with schools, restaurants, coffee shops and the weekly farmers’ market within walking distance. A truly special property offering a rare combination of history, flexibility, space, privacy and the convenience of in-town Waimea living.
