About this property
Build your dream homestead, expand your agricultural operation, or invest in one of the Big Island's most desirable rural communities. This rare offering includes two lightly wooded, adjoining 3-acre Agricultural-zoned parcels (6 acres total) on Kokokahi Road, being sold together. With approximately 250 feet of road frontage, there's ample room for a custom home, orchard, farm, equestrian use, agricultural buildings, or a private retreat. Side by side TMKs are 3-1-1-33-137 & 138. Located in the cool, lush climate of Volcano, the property enjoys an ideal mix of sunshine and rainfall, making it well-suited for gardening, specialty crops, fruit trees, flowers, livestock, and sustainable living. Looking for even more acreage? The seller also owns the two adjoining 3-acre parcels behind these on Makoa Road (tmks 3-1-1-33-139 & 140), available for purchase together. Combined, all four parcels create an exceptional 12-acre estate with access between Kokokahi Road and Makoa Road via Ala Naulani Road—ideal for a family compound, agricultural business, farming operation, or private retreat. Lots 48 & 39 are back to back. Just minutes from Volcano Village, you'll enjoy restaurants, galleries, shopping, schools, farmers markets, and Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park with miles of scenic hiking trails. Hilo, the international airport, beaches, and major services are all within an easy drive. Whether you're looking for a peaceful homesite, productive farmland, or a long-term investment, opportunities like this—with the potential to expand to 12 contiguous acres—are increasingly rare. Per Previous owner, Lot 47 was grubbed in the past for roadway and housepad, and a shed was built. Directions: From Volcano Highway, turn left onto S. Glenwood Road, then left onto Kokokahi Road. The properties are on the left just past Pole 47 and before Ala Naulani Road.
