About this property

This distinctive homestead is set among 4.26 acres of lush tropical abundance, a rare opportunity to live, grow, and create in one of Puna’s most fertile settings. Approximately 200 cacao trees flourish alongside avocado, citrus, lychee, ulu, jackfruit, banana, and other tropical fruit trees, all woven through colorful, fragrant ornamental plantings and a backdrop of sweeping Ocean views! The two-story main house features beautiful bamboo hardwood floors, solid wood interior doors, recessed lighting, and an open floor plan designed for relaxed island living. Upstairs, the 2-bedroom, 1-bath living space opens to a generous lanai with multiple living areas and expansive ocean and orchard views. The kitchen features bamboo cabinetry, granite countertops, an island with a breakfast bar, a pantry with French-style translucent glass doors, built-in bookshelves, and large windows framing the ocean. The lower level is currently used as a chocolate-making and tasting space, adding a wonderful opportunity for an existing or future creative enterprise. It includes a full bath, laundry, garage access, and flexible spaces that could easily be adapted for additional living, studio, office, or business use. The current chocolate operation generates approximately $300–$500/month from chocolate pod sales and may be continued by a new owner. A concrete covered lanai is shaped to look like the natural contours of pahoehoe lava and steps out to the lawns and orchards. The turnkey detached ohana offers privacy from the main home and is move-in ready. It features high ceilings, excellent natural light, a full kitchen with mango countertop, a wraparound lanai with 200 sq ft of screened-in area for extra living space, and its own & 10,000-gallon water catchment system. Perfect for additional family or rental income. A truly special Puna homestead with productive land, ocean views, and established income, just 10 minutes from Pāhoa, offering both privacy and convenience.
