About this property
Prime Large Commercial Lot – Rare Opportunity! This is one of the last large undeveloped commercial parcels in the area, cleared, fenced, and ready for development. Spanning 19,907 sqft, this level CV-7.5 zoned lot offers prime street frontage on Kamani Street, just steps from CVS, the Bank of Hawaii, and the post office. Located in a highly visible, walkable, and community-oriented neighborhood, the lot is ideal for retail, office, or mixed-use projects, whether you envision a boutique storefront, a welcoming cafe, or a modern live-work studio. Surrounded by RS-10 and RS-15 residential zones, as well as schools, churches, and community services, the area provides a strong built-in customer base. Nearby Kau Coffee tours contribute to steady foot traffic, while Punaluu Black Sand Beach and the famous Punaluu Bake Shop in Naalehu are just a short drive away, further enhancing commercial viability. With flexible CV-7.5 zoning that allows for a wide range of commercial and mixed-use developments, along with a favorable location in Lava Zone 3 and Flood Zone X, this parcel offers excellent conditions for financing, insurance, and long-term investment, as well as ease of development. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to build in one of Hawaii Island’s most charming small towns. With its generous size, strategic zoning, and unbeatable location, this parcel is ideal for serving both local residents and visitors. For expanded potential, consider purchasing the adjacent 9,483 sqft parcel (MLS 721376), for nearly 30,000 sqft of commercial development space. Buyers and their agents are advised to conduct their own due diligence to verify any material facts that may affect their decision or offered price. This includes verification with the County Planning Department, Department of Water Supply, Wastewater Division, and the local electric utility provider.
