About this property

Set within the exclusive gated community of Puakea Bay Ranch on the North Kohala coast of Hawaiʻi Island, this exceptional 10-acre parcel captures the essence of refined Hawaiʻi ranch living. Positioned along the makai side of the community with only the ranch’s private oceanfront park between the property and the Pacific Ocean, the setting offers exceptional privacy, panoramic natural beauty, and an extraordinary connection to the coastline. The property is ideally positioned to take full advantage of sweeping 180 degree ocean, coastline, and mountain views. Enjoy spectacular sunsets year round, seasonal whale watching, and clear horizon views towards Maui, with Kahoʻolawe and Lānaʻi occasionally visible in the distance. Gentle trade winds, green pastures, and the peaceful rhythm of North Kohala create an atmosphere that feels both expansive and timeless. Puakea Bay Ranch is known for its large acreage estates, equestrian lifestyle, nearly four miles of riding and walking trails, underground utilities, county water, and thoughtfully preserved open spaces. Cattle and horses graze throughout the community, adding to the quiet rural character that defines this coveted enclave. Located just minutes from the historic town of Hawi and approximately 20 minutes from the Kohala Coast resorts, championship golf courses, beaches, dining, and ocean recreation, this property presents a rare opportunity to design a legacy estate in one of Hawaiʻi Island’s most scenic oceanfront communities.
