About this property

An extraordinary Waimea estate set along a quiet lane on one impeccably curated acre, offering a rare unity of stellar design, craftsmanship, privacy, and enduring Hawai‘i character. Designed by Philpott’s Interiors alongside acclaimed architect Clem Lam, and David Tamura landscape design, the property masterfully blends architectural magnificence with a deep connection to the natural beauty and spirit of the land. Sweeping views of Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, Hualālai, and the Kohala coastline are showcased through expansive oversized & corner windows designed to frame the landscape from every major living space. Architecturally striking yet warm and grounded, natural elements such as lava rock, ʻōhiʻa posts, clear cedar t&g exterior ceilings, expansive ipe decking, and more are incorporated in a way that feels both sophisticated and deeply connected to its setting. Exceptional craftsmanship is evident throughout, from the dramatic custom made Brazilian cherry curved staircase to the custom La Puerta Entry Doors, to the African Mahogany built ins and custom tilework throughout, all reflecting an extraordinary level of care and intentionality. The main wing of the home offers 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, while a 5th bedroom or office & adjacent multipurpose room via a covered breezeway provide flexibility and separation for guests, work, or extended living. A protected oversized lanai extends the main living level into the surrounding views and gardens, creating a cohesive balance of indoor outdoor living. Beautifully integrated waterfall and grotto water features at both the entry courtyard and garden lanai create a remarkable sense of arrival and place while mature landscaping and fruit trees further enhance the estate’s private, elevated atmosphere. This is a property of exceptional quality and enduring character, privately situated within one of Waimea’s most coveted and exclusive enclaves. The contiguous 1ac vacant parcel is also available, MLS 730645.
